I’ve learned that optical is really two businesses in one.

One lane is routine retail with the everyday eyewear patients expect for clear vision. The other lane is therapeutic prescribing with eyewear solutions that address symptoms that impact patients’ daily lives. When I distinguish between those two roles of optical, patients better understand the value of my recommendations and why they fit their specific needs.
