Why you should use a digital inventory in your dispensary.

How do the most successful practices attain success?

Well for one, they know what works for their business and they capitalize on it.  They make decisions based on that knowledge in order to maximize revenue and profitability (See our earlier post, Track, Test, and Implement).

And to really, absolutely and precisely know what works, you need hard, accurate numbers from good reports.lightbulb

In your optical dispensary, that means using a robust, fully featured inventory software to track your sales.  A good digital inventory system will provide you with an easy way to track sales, monitor frame quantity levels, and evaluate current frame offerings.

So what should you expect from your software?  For an in-depth look at the kind of insights your software should unlock for you, check out our free, downloadable e-book, “6 Questions Your Software Reports Should Answer”.

If you aren’t sure how to answer these questions with your software, call your vendor and ask for help.

Not using an inventory software yet? Most practice management systems come with inventory features built in, but there are also specialized inventory only software that have been created for optical practices.  Before you start shopping, download our “10 Questions to Ask Before Buying Software” eBook to ensure you find the right software for your business.
