Some ideas to share around the New Year for My Frame Gallery subscribers...a small challenge...and a free offer at the end!

Amazon recently announced that Snapchat users will be able to virtually try-on eyewear, and then purchase the frames directly from Amazon.

But don't most consumers want to know that their glasses will look and feel good, before they lay down $$$ to purchase?

That's where YOUR natural advantage comes in. Your advantage over Amazon is that you have staff and a physical location.

AND you already have My Frame Gallery!

So congrats! Your forward thinking has given you the trifecta of:

  • human expertise
  • a physical place to deliver that expertise
  • and the online experience that patients will soon expect.

Now here is THE CHALLENGE:

Use your advantages now, throughout the coming year, to get ahead of the game. Make the most out of your My Frame Gallery subscription.  Here are some things to consider:

1. Review your website

Can patients find your Gallery?  Is there a prominent button to take them there? Are there ways your site could be improved?

2.  Add a gallery link to appointment reminders.

If you haven't done this, you absolutely should. We've seen dramatically higher engagement for practices that have a Gallery link in their reminders.

3. Reach out to patients you haven't seen recently.

Postcards can be surprisingly inexpensive, and you can include a QR Code (download it from framesdata.com) so recipients can quickly get to your Gallery on their phone.

4. Add a splash page.

A splash page will make your Gallery more exciting for first-time visitors.  We have a whole library of stock splash pages to choose from, including new Winter styles just added.

5. Re-engage your staff

Make sure your front desk knows to tell every patient about the Gallery. Confirm that your Opticians know what to do with Wish Lists. Make sure they understand that My Frame Gallery is meant to enhance their work, not replace them. Get them excited about saving 10 minutes a patient!

And lastly, here's our free offer.

Even if you just need some new ideas, drop us a line, and we'll help!

Email myframegallery@framesdata.com and ask for some pointers.  We'll review your site and your metrics and give you some feedback.

We want to make sure you are getting the most out of your Gallery, so please consider taking us up on that offer!

Happy New Year,

Tom
