Send an appointment email and boost your patient engagement [SAMPLE EMAIL BELOW]

You probably already send out a reminder notice to patients to encourage them to show up at the right time. It's a key opportunity to interact with patients, and better yet, an opportunity to leave the right impression for your business.

One sure way to make it a more valuable experience for your patients? Add a My Frame Gallery link to the reminder email.

After all, what better time to get them to browse your frames than right before their appointment?

You'll get them excited about your frame selection and jump-start the selection process, potentially cutting down on in-office time spent choosing frames.

And speeding up the selection process gets them closer to their purchasing decision too, which is a definite win!

Plus, if you've turned on the Wish List feature (it's optional but included with My Frame Gallery), timing is even more important.  You want the submitted wish list to arrive before the appointment, but with time to review and process prior to the patient arriving at your office.

Depending on how your practice decides to implement Wish List, that "process" could involve pulling frames to be tried on, or reviewing the list in order to brainstorm some alternative suggestions.

Lastly, here are some final thoughts:
  • short and sweet is better than long and wordy
  • don't cram sentences together, be sure to put spaces between sentences
  • add your own personality where possible and you can't go wrong!

Remember, your patients are people, and they want to be spoken to like people; Use a friendly yet professional tone, and avoid being too formal.  No one likes getting a cold, stiff email. This message will set the tone for their visit to the office, so be sure to make a good impression that will leave them looking forward to the in-person meeting.

Below is an example of a reminder email that will create excitement about the frames you carry.  You can copy and paste it as is (we don't mind!), or adjust it to add your own flair.
